My First post: Perhaps I should explain ?

The title for this blog site comes from Albert Camus, quoted by Zygmunt Bauman (in the book Conversations with Zygmunt Bauman published by Polity Press) :

"there is beauty and there are the humiliated. Whatebver difficulties the enterprise may present, I should like never to be unfaithful either to the second or the first"

And that's where I hope to stand in this blog, and in my life !
